Krasnodar Mayoralty refuses to sanction "Russian March"

On November 4, activists of national-patriotic movements of the Krasnodar Territory are planning to gather in central Krasnodar, despite the refusal of the city Mayoralty to sanction the "Russian March" applied for by them.

Organizational issues of the non-sanctioned gathering are discussed in several groups of social networks.

"The law does not forbid celebrating the Day of National Unity in the city centre. If they forbid an official public event, then, we'll have a festive stroll along Krasnaya Street, folk festivals, meetings of companions, perhaps, with songs," – note the administrators of the group named "Russian jogging. Krasnodar". "Why can't we sing on holiday? For example, the 'March of Tough Youth', a very festive song, or the 'Slavyanka's March'."

In his turn, the representative of the organizing committee of the Krasnodar "Russian March" has noted that the initiative of a peaceful rally comes from local residents and drawn the attention of the participants to the "inadmissibility of illegal actions."

Meanwhile, the Krasnodar police have already announced that they intend to strengthen the protection of the law and order on November 4, and, in the first place, at the venue of the unsanctioned action; the participants of which are under threat of administrative responsibility and detentions.
