Dagestan: advocate Magomedova requests payrolls of dismissed policemen from OVD

The lawyer Sapiyat Magomedova has requested the payrolls of the ex-policemen, dismissed from the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) for health reasons, from the OVD (Interior Division) of Khasavyurt and Kazbek ROVD (District OVD).

Let us remind you that Sapiyat Magomedova represents the interests of ten former employees of the Khasavyurt OVD, now Group II and III invalids, who turned to her in February 2012. According to the applicants, the accounting office of the OVD is incorrectly calculating and paying their monthly compensations.

According to the audit carried out in August 2012 in the Khasavyurt OVD, the former policemen were underpaid the due amounts, Ms Magomedova asserts. She sent her request on September 20, but as of October 8, the situation had not changed.

She added that should the request be left without an official response, she will be forced to sue the inaction of the OVD and ROVD in the court.

Meanwhile, a source from the Kazbek ROVD has declared his disagreement with the information provided by Magomedova, noting that "no one creates obstacles to receiving the legal payments; and the same applies to documents."
