Court in Volgograd Region restores Mayor of Dubovka as candidate for district head
Today, the panel of judges for administrative cases of the Volgograd Regional Court has restored the Mayor of Dubovka Alexander Lyashenko in the capacity of a candidate for the post of the Dubovka District to be elected on September 8.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 9 the Dubovka District Court satisfied the suit lodged by Vladimir Klochkov, the incumbent head of the Dubovka District, to cancel Alexander Lyashenko's registration as a candidate. On August 18, a rally of Lyashenko's supporters took place in the central square of Dubovka.
At the today's session, the above panel of the Volgograd Regional Court did not uphold the ruling of the first instance court, as Vladimir Shevchenko, the head of the press service of the Regional Court, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
According to his story, the ruling of the Dubovka District Court was cancelled and Klochkov's claim was denied.
