All-Armenian Fund "Hayastan" holds telethon in countries of Europe

The regular Europe-wide telethon of the All-Armenian Fund "Hayastan" started on November 15.

The telethon, organized by the "Hayastan", takes place in Europe on November 15-18. It is planned to spend the raised money on improvement of rural communities of the Tavush Region of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh. It is assumed that part of the collected funds will go to help Syrian Armenians.

An appeal to fellow-countrymen to actively participate in fundraising was supported by two well-known members of the Armenian Diaspora in France: the 1998 Football World Champion Yuri Djorkaef and Daniel Bilalyan, Director of sports programmes of the Channel "France-2".

The telethon is attended the Armenians of France, Belgium, Germany, Sweden, Greece and other countries.
