On July 23-29, 36 persons fell victim to armed conflict in Northern Caucasus

Last week, from July 23 to July 26, 2012, at least 36 persons suffered in the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus. Of them, 25 persons perished and 11 more were wounded. These are the results of calculations of the "Caucasian Knot" based on own materials of the edition and information from other open.

The death toll includes six law enforcement agents: four in Dagestan, one in Karachay-Cherkessia, and one in Ingushetia. Seven power agents were wounded: three in Ingushetia, two in Dagestan, one in Chechnya, and one in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR).

15 suspected members of illegal armed formations (IAFs) were liquidated: 10 in Dagestan, three in Ingushetia, and two in the KBR.

Four civilians were killed: three in Dagestan, and one in Ingushetia. Four civilians were wounded: three in Dagestan, and one in Ingushetia.
