Ivanishvili paid a fine of 45,6 million dollars imposed by the court of Georgia in full

Leader of oppositional coalition “The Georgian Dream” billionaire Bidzina Ivanishvili paid a fine of 74,3 million lari (about 45,6 million dollars) and sum of execution to 5,2 million lari (about 3,2 million dollars) imposed by the court in full, Besik Liluashvili, representative of PR service of National Sentence-implementation agency of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia, reported.

Vladimir Ugulava, temporary manager of “Kartu Group” company belonging to Ivanishvili has already explained the personnel that all the debt is paid and the court had to bring a judgment of enacting changes to management of “Kartu” bank.  

“The creditor’s demand is fulfilled completely, now we have to go through certain formalities stipulated by the law. I had to report to National Sentence-implementation agency. The Agency must submit a motion to court, then external management will be cancelled”, Ugulava explained.

The National Agency has already submitted to city court of Tbilisi a motion of suspension of compelled managing the shares of “Kartu Bank”, “Kartu Group” and “Progress Bank”. According to legal regulations, the court must bring a judgment within 24 hours”.
