An explosion occurred near a store in Buinaksk

Last night a home-made explosive device set on a windowsill in a store in Gazimagomedov street was activated. There are no victims or injured persons.

The incident took place at 02:42 Moscow time.

A window opening, the facing of the store and consumer goods were damaged as a result of the explosion. The power of the bomb made about 30 or 40 gram trotyl equivalent.

A criminal case was initiated according to part 2, clause 167 (deliberate destruction or damage to property), part 1, clause 222 (illegal purchase, storage, transport or carrying arms, ammunition, explosives or explosive devices) and part 1, clause 223 (illegal manufacturing arms) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, daily report of criminal situation in the Republic of Dagestan of July, 11, on the web-site of the Ministry of Interior Affairs runs.

It should be reminded that at night of July, 4, a shell-less home-made explosive device was activated in a waste ground in Shikhsaidov street of Buinaksk. At night of June, 22, an explosion near a two-storeyed shop located in "Druzhba" micro-district also took place in Buinaksk. At night of June, 17, "Ansolta" food store was blasted in the same micro-district. There were no victims or injured persons as a result of these incidents.
