ICRF: flooding death toll in Kuban reaches 164 persons

According to recent reports of the Investigatory Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF), the number of victims of the flooding in the Krasnodar Territory reached 164 persons. 8 persons were put on the list of missing persons.

In the evening of July 10 and in the morning of July 11, in Krymsk and the Krymsk District, bodies of 2 deceased persons were found. Thus, at present, in Krymsk and the Krymsk District, the death toll reached 150 persons, including 48 men and 102 women, including 3 minor children and 1 teenager. All 150 victims are identified, the ICRF's website reports.

According to the ICRF, investigators verify the facts of the obscure disappearance of 8 persons in the territory of the city of Krymsk and the Krymsk District.

"The death toll from the flooding in the cities of Novorossiysk and Gelendzhik has not changed, and at present, it is still 3 persons in Novorossiysk and 11 persons in Gelendzhik, respectively. Thus, official death toll from the disaster in the Krasnodar Territory is 164 persons, and 8 persons are still on the list of missing persons," the ICRF's press service reports.
