Head of Dagestan ordered to completely cover the cost of treatment of Malik Ahmadov who saved a girl and became disabled

Head of Dagestan ordered the Ministry of Public Health of the republic to pay the total cost of treatment of Malik Ahmadov, a nineteen-years-old native of the settlement of Kurakh, Kurakh district of Dagestan, who became disabled saving his peer girl who was sinking in the Caspian sea and consider the question of rewarding him.

"Head of Dagestan Magomedsalam Magomedov learned about the deed committed by Malik Ahmadov and the injury he got from mass media", a representative of Press service of Head of the republic said to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

"Magomedsalam Magomedov commissioned the Ministry of Public Health of Dagestan with total payment for medical rehabilitation for account of the republican budget. Moreover, the Department of personnel policy and state rewards of Dagestan was commissioned to offer Malik Ahmadov a state reward", a representative of Press service informed adding that Head of the republic took over personal control of execution of his orders.

At the same time it should be mentioned that earlier the Ministry of Public Health of Dagestan repeatedly refused to render aid and provide Malik Ahmadov with treatment and rehabilitation, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.

The "Caucasian Knot" within a joint project "Children of the "Caucasian Knot" together with Russian Aid Foundation calls its readers to help gravely ill children from the regions of the Russian South. Thanks to care of the people who responded to this call in 2011, the necessary money for treatment of 23 children to a total sum of 6 million 256 thousand 697 rubles was collected within the framework of the project. Stories of the children who need support are posted in the section "Aid Foundation" on the "Caucasian Knot".
