Officer of Karabakh Army killed in the border with Azerbaijan

Senior Lieutenant Ovannes Sukiasyan from the Defence Army of Nagorno-Karabakh was fatally wounded by a shot from the Azerbaijani side and died on the way to hospital, as reported by the Karabakh Defence Ministry.

The press service of the Defence Army explained that the incident took place in the ninth defence district and noted that "details of the incident will be reported in the next few hours," the "Caucasian Knot" reports.

So far, the Azerbaijani side gave no comments on the incident.
