Deputy city head heavily wounded in Kizlyar, Dagestan

Today in the morning, in Kizlyar, Dagestan, an attempt was committed on Vasily Naumochkin, deputy head of the city municipal formation. He was brought to local hospital with a heavy backbone wound.

The incident happened when Mr Naumochkin was on his way to his office.

His car Toyota Land Cruiser was shelled by unidentified persons out of their car, the "Interfax" reports. Then, the attackers disappeared from the place of the incident.

Doctors assess Naumochkin's condition as grave, as he has a backbone wound, the "Gazeta.Ru" reports.
