Magomedov starts reforming government of Dagestan
Today, President of Dagestan Magomedsalam Magomedov has signed the Decree "On Structure of Executive Power of the Republic Dagestan", which transforms a number of ministries and liquidated some bodies of the republic's executive power.
President of Dagestan has liquidated the Governmental Committee on Religion, Department on Securities Market (its functions went to the Ministry of Finance), State Inspection for Supervising Technical Condition of Self-Propelled Vehicles and Other Machinery under the Government (its functions went to the Ministry of Agriculture), and Division for Preparing Water Bodies of Hydroelectric Power Plants (its functions went to the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Communications).
The Ministry on Youth Matters of the Republic Dagestan is transformed into the Committee on Youth Policy, the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Economic Relations - into the Agency of the same name.
Some ministries are renamed: thus, the Ministry on National Policy, Information and Foreign Relations is now the Ministry on National Policy, Religions and Foreign Relations, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment Protection is now the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology, and the Ministry for Managing State Property is now the Ministry of Land and Property Relations.
Besides, the Committee on Press and Mass Communications was set up to borrow the respective functions of the transformed Ministry on National Policy, Religions and Foreign Relations.
The Ministry of Labour and Social Development is transformed into the Ministry of Social Development, while the Agency on Population Employment was set up with the appropriate function redistribution.
The Ministry of Industry, Transports and Communications is transformed into the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Communications, and a separate Committee on Transports is formed.
Besides, the Committee for Winegrowing and Alcohol Market Regulation was formed in Dagestan to borrow the respective functions of the Ministry of Agriculture and Ministry of Economy.
As to particular persons to take posts in the new Cabinet of Ministers of Dagestan, no names are presented yet.
Let us remind you that yesterday, on March 2, President of Dagestan Magomedsalam Magomedov presented the new members of his administration.
Making comments on new appointments in his administration, Mr Magomedov emphasized the need to rebuild the cadre work and start strict control over fulfilment of the orders of the President and Government of the republic.
"I faced this problem in the course of forming the structure of the executive power and administration. Today it is difficult to find young, ambitious, competent and professional people who know their business and who could be nominated to responsible managerial positions," Mr Magomedov has emphasized.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that earlier the new President of Dagestan had already made a number of cadre reshufflings. In particular, Ramazan Aliev was dismissed from the post of the head of administration of the President and Government of the Republic of Dagestan, and Idrisov, Gasan Idrisovich, was appointed instead.
