Driver wounded at the attempt on President of Ingushetia died

Ramzan Evkurov, driver of the President of Ingushetia, who was wounded as a result of the attempt on Yunus-Bek Evkurov on June 22, today has died in hospital, as reported by the reception office of the Republic's Clinical Hospital.

Yesterday, the patient underwent a liver surgery, as his condition grew suddenly worse; doctors found it extremely grave.

"However, on Saturday in the morning, he died without regaining consciousness," the "Interfax-South" quotes the Hospital's spokesman.

The ITAR-TASS notes that Ramzan Evkurov had burns of extremities, a craniocerebral trauma and liver injury. He took his treatment at the Republic's Clinical Hospital of Ingushetia, as doctors had banned his transportation to Moscow because of his grave condition.
